Bluefish è un editor HTML multipiattaforma per sviluppare siti web scritto utilizzando le librerie GTK+, quindi per Gnome. Supporta i linguaggi: HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, PHP, C, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Perl, ColdFusion, JSP, Python, Ruby e script shell, grazie a Bluefish avremo a disposizione schede, pulsanti e menù per facilitare e velocizzare la scrittura delle pagine HTML.
Le novità della nuova versione 2.0.3:
Bluefish release 2.0.3 improves syntax highlighting performance and the performance when scrolling in large files. It adds a couple of features such as a split view feature, Clojure syntax, WordPress syntax, Pascal syntax, jQuery syntax, Processing syntax and R syntax. Various features have improved such as tag closing, toggle comment (shift-control-c), spell check with HTML-entities, join lines and split lines, bookmarks in projects, the preferences user interface and more.
Per installare / aggiornare il nostro Bluefish 2.0.3 su Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick e 10.04 Lucid basta utilizzeremo i PPA LffL Maverick e Lucid per farlo basta digitare da terminale
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/maverick
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bluefish
Per Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/linuxfreedomlucid
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bluefish
e confermiamo al termine avremo il nostro Bluefish installato
