Red Eclipse è uno spara-tutto in prima persona open-source basato sul motore grafico Cube Engine 2 e SDL e OpenGL per il rendering.
Tra le principali caratteristiche di Red Eclipse troviamo una grafica molto curata, diverse modalità di gioco compreso il multi-player, l’utente avrà a disposizione moltissime armi, oggetti vari e mappe dettagliate.
Il team Red Eclipse ha recentemente rilasciato la nuova versione 1.4 Elara la quale introduce molte novità al game oltre a migliorarlo sia nella parte grafica che nella reattività del game.
Red Eclipse 1.4 Elara aggiunge nuove mappe oltre a rivisitare quelle già disponibili e aggiunge anche una nuova arma una nuova modalità di gioco.

  • User Accounts: donate or contribute, and wear the in-game supporter badge.
  • Improved weapon balance and gameplay rules, bugs fixed, and much more.

Red Eclipse 1.4 Elara è disponibile per Linux, Windows e Mac, per gli utenti Arch Linux sarà possibile installarlo via AUR e CCR per gli utenti Chakra.
Per installare Red Eclipse 1.4 Elara su Ubuntu, Debian e altre distribuzioni Linux è possibile tramite Desura la piattaforma open source.
