System76 è un’azienda americana che sviluppa e rilascia personal computer ed ora anche server con Ubuntu Linux preinstallato.
Se per i desktop Ubuntu stenta a decollare, nei Server Ubuntu e Linux in generale rimane leader indiscusso capace di offrire ottimi sistemi server sicuri e funzionali basati completamente abbattendo costi di licenze ecc.
Visto la richiesta di nuovi server da parte di diverse aziende, System76 ha deciso di rilasciare ben 3 nuovi modelli di Server tutti con Ubuntu Server preinstallato, logicamente l’azienda può in un secondo momento sostituire con un’altra distribuzione ad esempio Debian, Suse, Red Hat e anche Arch Linux (con kernel LTS).
