Rapid Photo Downloader   è un’applicazione per scaricare le nostre fotografie dalla nostra macchina digitale nel nostro pc e inviarle ad un server in maniera veloce e semplice. Creato da un fotografo per i fotografi dice lo slogan nel sito del produttore possiamo anche rinominare velocemente tutte le foto, crea automaticamente delle cartelle per differenziarne le foto per tipo (come noi precedentemente abbiamo preimpostato), e molte altre funzioni.

Ecco le novità della nuova versione 0.3.2:

Version 0.3.2 has been released. Norwegian Nynorsk is added as a translation. The Chinese, Finnish, Hungarian, Dutch,Occitan (post 1500), Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian translations were updated. A crash on startup was fixed that occurred when checking for freespace and the download folder does not exist. See the release notes for details.

Ecco come installare/aggiornare Rapid Photo Downloader 0.3.2 su X|Ubuntu.

Apriamo il terminale e per prima cosa installiamo la la chiave d’autentificazione e Repository alla nostra Distribuzione scrivendo:

Per Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick, 10.04 Lucid e 9.10 Karmic

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dlynch3/ppa  && sudo apt-get update

Per Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty

sudo echo “deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/dlynch3/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list && sudo apt-key adv –recv-keys –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-key 0x0b6aa52a264a3dfb  && sudo apt-get update

Per Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy

sudo echo “deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/dlynch3/ppa/ubuntu hardy main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list && sudo apt-key adv –recv-keys –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-key 0x0b6aa52a264a3dfb  && sudo apt-get update

ora se abbiamo Rapid Photo Downloader installata in una versione precedente basterà aggiornare la nostra Distribuzione altrimenti installiamo Rapid Photo Downloader con un semplice:

sudo apt-get install rapid-photo-downloader

e confermiamo.

Ora avremo la nostra Rapid Photo Downloader installata/aggiornata nella nostra Distribuzione

In caso di future nuove versioni ci basterà aggiornare la nostra Distribuzione.
