Ubuntu Customization Kit è un'ottima applicazione per creare ISO personalizzare della nostra K|X|Ubuntu. E' possibile aggiungere al Live CD tutti i pacchetti che si vuole, il supporto per la propria lingua, e ogni tipo di applicazione che si desidera avere sulla propria Distribuzione.
Ecco le novità della nuova versione 2.0.12 tratte dal sito del produttore:
* splash notes were updated
* a new configuration screen was added to allow selecting which languages will be available on the livecd boot splash (gfxboot). This was necessary because the language packs codes do not match gfxbook locales.
* the default gfxboot language can be chosen only between the gfxboot available languages (easier selection).
* default gfxboot language selection was made mandatory
* a workaround for the chrooted gnome-terminal was implemented
Per installarlo su K|X|Ubuntu basta scaricare il file .deb dal link posto sotto cliccarci sopra e confermare oppure aprire il terminale e scrivere:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
e poi
sudo apt-get install -f
confermiamo e alla fine avremo il nostro UCK installato.
