Pino è un client Twitter, scritto in Vala, con l'obiettivo di essere semplice e veloce. Questa è la tua prima versione è ancora in beta, ma perfettamente utilizzabile.

Ecco alcune novità della versione 0.1.0rc3 tratte dal sito del produttore:

- Timeline.
- Mentions.
- Custom interval for data updating.
- Creating new tweets and replying to users from - your timeline.
- Hiding menu and panels.
- Tray icon.
- Showing retweets in timeline (author of tweet and who retweeted).
- Default Gnome notifications of new tweets.
- Keeping unread tweets until the main window is not focused.
- Deleting your own tweets.
- Russian, Ukrainian translations.

Per installarlo su K|X|Ubuntu basta aprire il terminale e copiare quanro segue:

sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 0x299fbc986f33fbbecab85d1a3ceaaf36ecf4c854 && sudo echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/troorl/pino/ubuntu karmic main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list && sudo apt-get update &&  sudo apt-get install pino

confermiamo e alla fine avremo il nostro Pino installato.
In caso di future nuove versioni ci basterà aggiornare la nostra Distribuzione.
